横須賀市・葉山町消防指令センターでは、外国人観光客の増加や「2019ラグビーワールドカップ」、「2020東京オリンピック・パラリンピック」の開催を控え、様々な言語からの119番通報に対応するため、電話通訳センターを介した三者間同時通訳を導入しました。

1．救急要請などの緊急時は、119番へ電話してください。

2．可能であれば、「日本語が話せないこと」と「何語が話せるか」を英語で伝えてください。

3．電話通訳センターに電話をつなぎますので、そのままお待ちください。

4．通訳者の指示に従って、お話しください。

5．通報内容を通訳者から聞き取り、救急車等を出動させます。
