| Denuclearization Peace Hayama Declaration |
Japan is the only country bombed by a nuclear weapon in the world.
We will never forget the suffering of the people of Nagasaki and Hiroshima by being bombed.
However fighting on the earth has not stopped, and the existence of a nuclear weapon continues to menace humans.
Hayama adheres to the three non-nuclear principles; they are "not possess", "not manufacture" and "not introduce nuclear arms" in hopes of permanent peace.
We declare that it is a denuclearization peace city in order to keep this beautiful sea, rich nature, and the people's happiness eternally.
